A message from our CEO, Kathy Edwards
As we have faced many decisions in recent days, we’ve tried to keep our mission in mind…to offer compassionate care to men and women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. Our mission also calls us to pursue a goal to positively impact families now and for generations to come. With this foremost in our mind, I’d like to share with you a few of the immediate measures we’ve taken to reduce any risk of spreading the virus.
- We have asked volunteers to step away from their weekly
duties temporarily. The majority of our volunteer staff fall into two of
the at-risk categories. Allowing them to take care of themselves at this
time is critical. It also reduces the number of people gathered in one
center throughout the day.
- Between now and the end of March, we will be directing
clients to visit two of our four locations. This will best utilize our
staff for client service coverage.
- We have increased our capacity to maintain newly recommended
sanitation procedures. Masks, gloves and sanitizer are available for all
clients and staff as needed.
- Clients who are enrolled in our programs will be
followed individually until group classes resume.
Please know that we are making every effort to keep our clients
and staff safe and cared for during this unusual time.
