A Brighter Tradition Begins: The 2025 Lee’s Summit Magic Tree Lighting Ceremony Returns to Paragon Star

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO (November 11, 2025) — The Lee’s Summit Magic Tree — a cherished holiday tradition that has brought families, friends, and neighbors together for more than a decade — will shine even brighter this year at Paragon Star. The 2025 Magic Tree Lighting Ceremony is set for Wednesday, November 26, from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM, and admission is free. Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy donation to support local military families through Operation Toy Soldier.

This year, the Magic Tree is taking on a new look — and a new home within Paragon Star. The tree will be located in a more visible, easily accessible area, allowing visitors to experience the lights from new perspectives — including a view from Interstate 470.

And while tradition remains at the heart of the event, something new and exciting is taking root this year. Guests can expect a refreshed Magic Tree experience that captures the wonder of the season in a whole new way.

The evening will feature the official lighting ceremony, music, festive photo opportunities, and the chance to celebrate the season surrounded by family and community spirit.

Since its inception, the Lee’s Summit Magic Tree has supported Operation Toy Soldier, helping provide gifts for children of local military families. This ongoing partnership embodies the true meaning of the season — giving back to those who serve.
